Confidentiality & Privacy

    • The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We’ll discuss your goals, concerns, and what brings you to therapy. This is also a chance for you to ask questions and see if you feel comfortable working with me.

    • Sessions typically last 55 minutes and are scheduled weekly or biweekly, depending on your needs and preferences. We’ll collaborate to determine a schedule that works best for you.

Bookings & Cancelations

    • Maintaining a positive and productive therapeutic relationship requires mutual respect and communication. Consistent payment for services, regular session attendance, and respectful, timely communication are essential.

    • Please ensure you have everything prepared and are ready to join your session on time. This may require setting aside a few minutes beforehand to organize your space and ensure your electronic device is ready.

    • While we understand circumstances can change, repeated failure in any of these areas may necessitate discharge from our practice.

    • In such situations, we are committed to ensuring a smooth transition to continued care. We will make every reasonable effort to contact you and provide referrals to other qualified providers before formally ending our relationship.

    • There are various reasons why our professional relationship might conclude. You may choose to work with a different provider, or we may determine that your needs would be better met elsewhere. Regardless of the reason, we will discuss the rationale for discharge with you and, upon your request, provide a list of alternative providers. We will also adjust the discharge process timeline as needed to accommodate your treatment needs, including offering continued emergency support for a limited time after notification of discharge.
